Mid April??

Ytd just went for the meeting with the NUS proffessors for the surveyor job. Lol, very long meeting!! started at around 2, ended around 5+ almost 6. Going through the same thing as the last meeting at NLB. haha, but okay i guess. since it refreshed me on the types of questions. Honestly speaking, i seriously thought that this PT job is a goner when I've not been contacted for the past 3 weeks+ or so. Then when i was going home from the outing with 加藤-san, i received the sms from Daryl saying that there'll be a meeting on Thursday. Haha, at least now i've got a source of income.

月曜日(12/04/2010)
Went for a date with 加藤さんtoVivoCity. Haha, it was quite a last minute thing. The night before, I was just updating her on my result of the Level Placement Test @ Ikoma. Then she was asking why didnt i say Hi to her. LoL! seriously, i didnt notice that she was there. Then she said that she's having off day on monday. Then she asked "why not we go out?" and thats how it happened.

So there, we arranged to meet at Harbourfront MRT and when I exit the train, i saw her. turned out we took the same train. lol. then yeah, we went to check out the movies timing. Was having so much trouble choosing what to watch. I try not to choose those movies without subtitles cuz she seems to be having a little trouble understanding if the conversation goes too fast. Haha, she was keep saying "じゃ、どうぞ~" meaning "if u may~". Then i keep asking her which one she want to watch, lol. And in the end i told her this:

Me : じゃ、こうしよ。先生は一番好きの映画を選ぶ。僕もそうする。で。。じゃんけんで決めるはどう? (why not we do it like this? you choose your favourite movie, i'll do the same. then we'll decide by scissors paper stone?)

Then she won and was very surprised. Lol, so we end up buying tickets for Date Night.

Yup, but before the movie we went to DAISO and she kept going saying its really like Japan's Daiso. We bought snacks and then head for lunch since both of us have not eaten.

The movie was quite funny, really!! lol, after the movie, we went to the "balcony?" or whatever u call that, where you can see the sea and sentosa. The breeze felt really good! and it wasnt very hot either, 本当にいい天気です！so we chat there for quite awhile, people were looking at us cuz our conversation really 98% Japanese. Haha, especially when we talk louder, people will gaze at us.

Yup, then we had our dinner at Secret Recipe and head home. It was really fun! hehs

Hm... Exam in a mth. gotta start studying or else really cannot make it.

April Update

havent been doing much lately... still the same old routine of drama, anime, sleeping till the noon and rotting at home. the only additional thing would be the weights that i just bought 2 weeks ago. new toy! lol, been working out with it quite often, almost daily. hope to build some muscles and i know i'm skinny. urgh! not that i want it this way but no matter how much i eat, i just wont grow! damn it, if only i'm like 75kg now and i stop putting on weights. that would probably shut a few mouths whenever i meet people. hahaha

updates on my japanese language progress : nil
LoL! why? cuz my course ended 2 weeks ago and i've yet to take the level placement test to determine my current level. I'm dying to go to japan! even if its not to play, maybe as an attachment student or what, i wanna know more about their culture and language! but thinking of going to japan will always lead to this pitfall called $$. Argh!!! its really true when people say "money makes the world go round". so true!! u probably cant do much w/o money, it was predetermined this way since the ancient times when currency was introduced.

speaking of money, recently i just quitted SushiTei and am currently waiting for the email for the market surveyor job. but i dont think i should only rely on that since i've some extra free time in hand. but looking for a job with good pay is not as simple as flipping the classified section of strait times. sometimes i really hope that i will hit the jackpot in SG Pools so i can forget about the money matter (at least for that time being) but reality is always harsh. urgh!!

school's alright i guess, just did the test ytd and sadly, i didnt get the fullmarks that i wanted so much. but the gd news is, i gotten a 90% so i guess i cant ask too much yea? just hope that i can really maintain it and do well for my exam in may. at least i want a good start after a 2-year absence from sch.

oh, one more thing. Kitagawa Keiko is my new idol. She's exactly 1 day older than me! OMG! can you believe it?! and she's so so so pretty! hahaha, oki i shall stop talking about her before the symptoms show.

After so long....

hm... lets see. been almost 2 months since i last updated. so many things have happened.

SCHOOL! 大学。。。
first of all, Uni! (to my ST frens, its university, not "uni") haha... yup, classes was tough at the start because of the 2 year gap away from sch. Mr Toh(the lecturer) speaks like we ought to know s many things, his favourite phrase would be "As we all know....." i wanna tell him "Uh... idk leh, does that make me stupid?" but to save face, even i dunno wtf he talking, i still nods and agree with him. HAHA! =X then there was the test, 3rd lesson into it and already a test!?! hell yea! only 2 qns, qn 1 : 60marks and qn 2: 40marks. Before the test and even before that, my classmates never talk to each other. once the lecturer say "Okay, stop." everybody started to talk like they knew each other ages ago. Lol, quite funny. and one more funny thing is, out of 10 that i asked, 11 said DIE. HAHA, awesomeness right?! but anyway, after that, my fren who got the same qn 1 ans as mine went to check with Mr Toh, and he told him we're wrong. wahs... emo for 2 weeks. like shit man, bad start, first test jiu fail liao. but after cny when we got back our paper, it turned out alright. i did pretty well hehe. k enough about sch, so far so good abt it.

Then, work. Been searching for another part time or fulltime job recently. having too much time and i dun want to work so much at Sushi Tei. getting really bored. and plus, everyone is leaving. first was chongyong, then mayson. then Valen also wanna quit. sians.... but really la. working there no longer have the kick to stay. like something is missing. didnt have this kinda feeling when i was working at taka ST. hahahs....

Then there's the farewell for hantu and barry. tho i've not been meeting them alot, but when we meet or online, we have so many things to talk about. just dont have the distant feeling. haha. then hantu and barr chose to leave on 2 separate days. summore one day after another. double impact la! hantu teared when we said our farewells. aww..... LIFE?? これから。。。
been thinking of what to do with myself from now on. of course, work and find cash for uni studies. but i need to get myself more involve with my surroundings or else i'm gonna turn into a loner. LOL. have so much plans inside my head now but the thing is how to realize them. wanna organise outing for my jap class, then wanna join some club in Uni. haiz, see how first. a step at a time, solve the most troublesome thing first, $$

Happenings in the Past Weeks

Wow wow wow, lol how long has it been since i last updated. guess its about time. Haha.. well, LOADS of things happened in the past few weeks. good and bad likewise.

First thing first, back to sch on 26thJan'10!! So excited, just like a preschooler gonna attend his first class. HAHA. how did it happen? well, i'm not really sure what happened but day after i sent in my reply to SIM regarding the July intake, they called me up and tell me they've got a place in Jan intake. i was like O.O!! and -_-!! BUT the offer came with a little downside which I'm only allowed to take limited modules due to my late enlistment. But whatever it is, overall its a good news =)

Then come the Genting trip. Lol! thinking back about it makes me wanna laugh. the meeting time was 6am at Queen's St. like wth, so early!! then Stella came with a swollen eye which she claimed it to be the "Good Eye". then we were waiting for Qiqin to arrive, we mistook someone for her and almost wanted to open the door for her. Then came Qiqin, Just right on the verge where we are going to leave. The journey was okay until we hit the Johore Custom. Lol, the black arrow shot back to Stella and her "precious moments" passport. too much details to be covered and i'm too lazy. in the end, she say the person just wanted an excuse to take her "Precious Moments" passport cover. After that, it was all smooth to Genting Highlands. We reached around 2pm but only checked in at 5pm.

How did it happen : Turn + Oh shit + PRIANG!!!
So the arrow has shot stella, qiqin and dino. There are other small incidents that happened but arent worth mentioning.

The reason why everyone is screaming during the non-scary viking was because it was so darn cold!!

Oh ya, we went to watch AVATAR on the first night after our painful experience of heart attack. Qiqin and Yuqian were like sleeping their dreams away during the show, so they are like watching the trailers but at a PAID price. Lol! =X oh and Dino love their popcorn i tell ya, before she show start, he finished his and asked us for more when stella was like complaining the popcorn have got weird taste. Oh wells.... haha

For the rest of the trip, nothing much. Just eat, shop, sleep, talk, walk and laugh. Haha
Overall rating : Fun!

Recently just bought a Lappy, YAY! Toshiba Satellite M500. the specs are even better than my dekstop, Lol. getting ready for new chapter of my life. People say Uni will be the most fun days in your life. Hm... so i'm really looking forward to it.

Although I've been true to my own words of not wanting to burden my parents anymore, but i've failed this time. miscalculation on my part, so i guess i'm not as good as i thought i would be

wahs.... past week has been slacking again.... been watching Jdramas and animes alot more recently, completed a few series in a week or so. LoL =X and i just finished reading Yakuza Moon by Shoko Tendo. Its a good book, really... after reading it, i'm forced to think of alot of things. like how fortunate I am for just being born in a normal family, and what i should be doing from now on. =) its not like i didnt think about this before. its just that it made me recall what i should be doing. well, i cant promise a big change but at the very least, a change is coming.

sighz.... past week have not been fruitful at all. keep skipping work, sleeping almost 15hrs aday, the rest are spent watching animes, reading manga, chatting or simply stoning. Damn it man, been skipping my regular exercises too. i'm just too lazy to do anything, no motivation at all, why like that. Work at SushiTei was alright i guess, but still, always doing runner is not that fun. Repeating order and send food is alright but when it gets busy and we still need to top plate and whats more, ppl outside say "one rice", sometimes it really gets to my nerve. its like Fuck man, i'm so busy right now and i still need to do this, worse when u see that there's no more rice bowl and u need to go back-kitchen and take. haiz, been wanting to tell the management but always forget... i'll make sure i tell them about this..PFtt!! other than that, Jap lesson was as usual. nth quite new to be worth mentioning. oh ya, one of the reason why i so lazy is prolly the weather, too good to be outta bed. haha, i love the sound of raindrops, it'd be best if i'm sleeping in a tent by the sea while its raining, with a dimlit lamp and a pillow + blanket. heavenly..... but where can i find such time? and doing it alone seems damn loner -.- maybe i shld only do it in my dream. Just Sunday, went to watch SAW6 with Aaron, Josh, Hantu, Phyoe and his gf. The opening was like WTF?!! i was shaking la... could be because it was damn cold in the cinema or/and the opening was too gore. haha, luckily i didnt have anything before the show or else i'm gonna be sick. well, one thing for sure, i didnt get nightmares becuz of it, phew....

2 week ago.....

wow, keep saying i wanna update but too lazy. haha but anyway, its gonna be a long post, lets see, 2 weeks ago was my last class with Okamoto Sensei. Well, she was very hyper in her class and all but she's still my replacement class teacher. Abit sad that gotta leave her class to rejoin my original class [konbu - こんぶ]. took some photos with her and Barry on our last day. Haha, then she went on and tell our teacher, Reika Kato sensei that we got some basics in japanese....which then resulted in some questioning by Kato Sensei on my first day with her.... haha

Kato Sensei was different from Okamoto Sensei. well... both of them are nice but Kato sensei is quite musical. haha, she can hum music throughout the 3hrs class, hehs! well, one thing never change, that is their facial expression when i surprise them with sth. LoL! i just love it!! =X and there's always A Barry for me to bully, or test my jap on. LoL!! Other than jap class, been working 2 jobs now, SushiTei + Starhub Direct sales. well, consider it a way to make use of my time since i'll be sleeping at home if i'm not out working... Hahs. Being outspoken is good but talking someone into buying something need some skill. lol, well, if i ever get a chance to visit your place, then i shall demonstrate. The working environment there is ok i guess, mostly younger than me. damn... i'm getting old, already 23. my mum wld always say this in front of her frens, "好命的話﹐我以經做奶奶了。" HAHAHA, damn!! Oh yea, got hit by car recently. LoL, on zebra crossing somemore, i was damn lucky that it was during a turn so the velocity wasnt that high. Imagine straight road, lom pia liao ji tao bee poo bee poo, HAHAHA! so i got away with some bruises and scratches, well the driver was a female around 20+ i think. she was so damn scared when she saw me on the floor. i told her i'm alright after she sent me to polyclinic but she insisted i go for X-ray so the next day she drove me down to TTSH for a scan. turned out to be nothing serious la, just some minor injury. LoL... i dunno why i kena langgar still can laugh, LOL!! then i called ST and tell them i got into accident, words spreads so fast, ppl start msging me. LoL... and so here i am, alive and kicking and bloggin. hehs....

Today [1st'Nov'09]


Jap Class!! wooh! the thing that i most look forward to every week. I was late, like 20mins late, the moment i enter the class, i apologize and guess what. so zhun she was teaching nouns, specifically "clock". so she point to me and say "tokei" [clock], the class laughed. then i reply, huh? oh tokei! wakarimasu! [i know], the class laughed even louder. LoL! sheet!! oki, so there... i went to an empty seat, cuz today i was late, so didnt sit with Barry, sat infront of him. so the lesson went on.... then suddenly got this 2 girls came in and looked for Kato Sensei, apparently they were her Full-time Students. Barry whispered to me "Kawaii zou!!" HAHA!! then i just whispered back, "Jya denwa bango totte kure" [so go get the number], and he replied "siao!" LoL! Barry wa wakari yasui na... then during break, i was having a short talk with Kato sensei, she was telling me and barry to move on to Basic 2. but i told her that her class is fun and i enjoyed it, LoL. Then during one of the pair practice, she came and observe us when i accidentally blurted out sth that has not been taught, then she went HO!! HAHA! then she start asking me things like how long have i been studying jap, and where and how. the rest of the class just stare, weird la! then class ended, asked a few more questions and left the class. Supposedly to have dinner with Barry but cuz his dad msg him saying @ home got cook sambal sotong, he going back to eat. haha... haven visit his house since dunno how long ago liao. sigh.... i'm slowly drifting away from my best pals, why is this happening?

My First Official Japanese Lesson :)

Wooh, Jap Lesson ytd was fun!! Okamoto sensei is funny and very expressive. her reaction is always so HUGE. lol, there's this instance when she's pairing us up using As and Bs, then after she did that, she asked for the As but only a few raised up their hand and she went HEH?!! LoL! me and barry bursts out laughing. thorughout the lesson we just kept making fun of each other. when there was a mosquito flyin around, he'll say "cheevoon stop flying around la" -.-! si barry, lol. then when she asked us to pronounce some sentence or answer her question, we added something extra to it, and she'll go OH!!!! LOL! seriously, she's too expressive!! but nonetheless.... Kawaii!! haha, the feeling of being in a class, i miss it so much la..... and when she's teaching us, time seems to be moving slowly, maybe its because she speaks quite slowly, and there're times she mix jap and english together cuz many of us dont know japanese that well yet. i really look forward to attending a class where we'll be speaking jap to each other from start till end, HAHA. IT'LL BE SO DAMN COOL AND FUN MAN!!

Boring Week つまない

work out, swim, finding jobs, sleep, eat, think. those are the things that i did for the past week. nothing interesting happened. work was okay, normal, just abit gossips here and there. oh ya, dere's something interesting... Valen's birthday. haha, surprise surprise! he was like O.O!!! totally unexpected for us to go all the way to his sch and surprise him, the expression on his face made it all well worth it, LOL!! its 12.41am now and i still cant get to sleep even thought i worked out today and swim 30 laps jz nw -.- had my dinner at 9 but i'm all hungry when it haven even reach 12!! really, what is wrong with this body of mine, keep eating but never grow.been Fb-ing alot lately due to my overly TOO MUCH free time at home. anyway, things to look forward to now is my jap class, wooh! like finally. and other than that, waiting for call from Derrick on the starhub sales training, looking to earn some bucks to cover my upcoming sch fees (if i made it). and deep inside my mind, i'm very worried about the sponsorship, i know its hopeless but i really really really hope i get it.seriously, pls let me get it, i need it badly

sigh.... went for the interview the other day. as expected, i think its hard to get it. the questions they ask, my results, urgh.... like totally blast me off. tho i tried to convince them that i will do my best in my uni, but the past results does reflect badly on me, esp my Os. damn it... the cost of uni is really alot, been calculating and all. i dun ever want to trouble my parents about it but they asked me how did the interview went, i just nodded... guess they knew... tho they have not said that i'm getting rejected but i'm prepared for the worse. looking at taking study loans from bank and working more part time jobs to cover it up. seriously..... reality is harsh..... but den again, when i tot i've gotten 2 bad news within 2 days, today i received a call from IKOMA about my jap class, wooh! someone backed out @ the last minute thus me and barry got the seats! something to brigthen my mood a lil, at least... haha. went to borders on thurs and saw this book "Men are from Mars and Women are from Venus". thought the tile was interesting enough but when i take a look at the insides, its amazing how the author actually able to link us to martians and venusians. and they actually does make sense =) gonna get it someday. as for daily life, nothing much, my mind is as full as it is empty (if u get what i mean).

yay! today juz received mail from safra that i got shortlisted for the sponsorship. going for interview coming thursday. omg omg, i must make it! pls pls pls pls pls

I'm back to being normal again! new aim : to work out, 100x push ups daily routine and swim as often as possible! wanna gain some weight and muscle, LOL =X anyway, juz finished watching "huan huan ai" and i really wonder if girls really go by the quote ‘男人不壞﹐女人不愛’ HAHA, seriously, altho i know its just a show but i really think that it happens in real life too. and i feel lonely all of a sudden, if only i'm attached now, i'd be going down to her place and give her a hug, nothing special.. jz because i feel like it =) and...... when i recall wat i did over the past 2 days, i'm disappointed at myself, like wth am i thinking?!! but anyway, i told qin that i will not allow that to happen to me anymore, and i dont like to break promises. so...
